Week 2 TNF Parlay
We had a solid week 1 but with 2 tough misses that would have made it a CRAZY week 1. Picks for a Thursday night parlay below.
Jayden Daniels Over 226.5 Passing Yards
Jayden Daniels passing totals were hit and miss last season hitting this total in 8 out of the 15 games he played the whole game (2 games missed by 0.5). Deebo Samuel gives this team a different dynamic than last year and we saw how he can benefit the offense in week 1. Against the Giants Washington never really needed to push the tempo so Jayden just barely topped 230 yards. The Packers offense is much more formidable and this will be a BIG Thursday night matchup for potential NFC favorites. They did hold Goff to a low total last week which is concerning but the lions had a LOT of coaching turnover and are still working out the kinks.
Terry McLaurin Over 4.5 Receptions
Last week Terry had a very quiet game and all of the sudden everyone is worried he's now a 2nd tier receiver in this offense to Deebo. I don't think so. The Giants put up one of the most pathetic offensive perfomances I have ever seen last week and there was absolutely no reason for Washington to try and push the ball downfield. This benefits Deebo who has always thrived in that short passing game around the line of scrimmage. Against the Packers Washington is NOT going to be able to play conservative and win the game. I think we see Deebo and Terry alternate as target leaders in an almost gamescript dependent way. This week is Terry's turn and this total is honestly disrespectfully low. Last year he hit this total in 5 of his last 6 games and 9 of his last 12.
Also star players tend to get their due. Don't be surprised if one of the first 3 plays of the game is a "Schemed" pass to Terry on the sideline.
Jordan Love Over 227.5 Passing Yards
Honestly don't love any of the packers picks as I still have no idea what to make of their receiving corps. To make the Parlay we HAVE to have a packers play so I just went with the gamescript pick. If Jayden Daniels and Terry are hitting the over. Then there is a good chance Jordan Love is too. Just need to avoid an early packers lead because they LOVE to run the ball when they have the ability too. If Washington can keep the game within a TD throughout or even take a lead I think this total is a fairly easy hit.
